Dragonsteel Nexus takes place at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City from December 4th through December 6th. The event is the brainchild of author entrepreneur Brandon Sanderson and draws over seven thousand attendees annually. Of the con, the organizers say:
Dragonsteel Nexus is an annual convention celebrating the worlds and works of Brandon Sanderson, and an amazing experience for all fans of Brandon or speculative fiction in general!
The convention will include (but won’t be limited to):
- The Worldhopper Ball
- Panels run by fellow fans, exhibitors, industry professionals, and other guests
- Events, photo ops, crafts, and games
- Exhibitor hall with artists, authors, content creators, and merchandise booths
- A full game room with tabletop game library, TCG events, and TTRPGs
- Socialization opportunities to meet fellow fans from all walks of life
- Cosplay and cosplayers
- The release party for Brandon’s newest book!
