Fractal Noise Illinois

Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an in-person event and signing line with author Christopher Paolini, to celebrate the release of Fractal Noise, on Monday, May 22nd, at 7pm in the theatre at Community Christian Church. Christopher will give a presentation, followed by an audience Q&A. After his talk, Christopher will have a signing line where he will personalize and take photos with attendees, if they wish!

This event will be held at Community Christian Church in the theater (1635 Emerson Lane), and pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Set twenty-three years before the events in To Sleep in a Sea of Stars, Fractal Noise is a sci-fi thriller that tells the story of humanity’s first discovery of alien intelligence.

A stellar survey team in the mid-2030s discovers an anomaly on a seemingly uninhabited planet. A pit 50 kilometer wide and most certainly not of natural origin. How did it get there? And who, or what, built it? A small team must land and journey on foot across alien terrain to find out. Each step they take toward the mysterious abyss is more punishing than the last. And the ghosts of their past follow.

Those of you who prefer audiobooks, make sure to take a listen to the Fractal Noise audiobook! The narrator is none other than the exceedingly talented Jennifer Hale. She and the team at MacMillan Audio are receiving nothing but rave reviews for their work on this unique project.

Christopher’s tour has been an absolute blast so far! And if you aren’t able to make the event in Illinois, never fear, Christopher has many appearances in his future. Upcoming states on the list for the Fractal Noise tour include CA, FL, MT, OR, and TX. Christopher will also be touring for Murtagh in November, date announcements to come as they become available. Check out the schedule for the latest details!
