Christopher recently sat down with author John Stephens to discuss his latest novel, The Black Reckoning, the third installment in the Books of Beginning series. John also moonlights as a television writer, producer, and director. Past projects include Gossip Girl, The O.C., and Gilmore Girls. He’s currently executive producing Gothem.
In this interview, the two men discussed everything from the challenges of writing for television versus long-form fiction, to how effective collegiate education is for novelist, to how inspiration first struck a storyteller like John.
