Wraithmarked: The Book of Remembrance

Christopher is delighted to announce he’s collaborating once more with the indominatable Wraithmarked for the BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE. The campaign has launched today, July 1, and will run through August 1. More details below.

From Wraithmarked:

The Book of Remembrance is a 5″x7″ in-world historical archive set in the World of Eragon, licensed from Christopher Paolini and Penguin Random House by Wraithmarked Creative for us to make a special project out of this book! It features brand new canon content from seven battles across the history of Alagaësia, written by Christoper himself, with those battles including (titles open to change):

  • The Defeat at Amaranth
  • The Siege of Kvôth
  • The Sack of Vroengard
  • The Ambush at Stavarosk
  • The Battle Under Farthen Dûr
  • The Slaughter at Gil’ead
  • The Fall of Urû’baen

Christopher has gone above and beyond in producing the material for this book, but the new content isn’t the only cool thing about this project. The Book of Remembrance is also a record. A record of the fallen, a list of those who fought and died for their cause on the fields of those battles.

Now… Whose names are going to be on those lists, you ask?

Well… Yours.

Everyone who backs this campaign will be listed among those fallen somewhere in the history of Alagaësia. These lists are non-canon, but your name—or whatever name you choose—will be listed in an official World of Eragon project, now and for so long as these books exist. We have a number of ranks to select depending on your pledge level, which include options for leatherbound books, being a spellcaster, and even getting your own custom-illustrated portrait placed inside the Book of Remembrance.

Just as cool, regardless of what rank you choose, your name will be recorded not only in the Latin alphabet, but also in Ullmark, the official human rune system from the World of Eragon, which we have spent months adapting into a custom font just for you!
